Embellished in old world Caribbean elegance, the property is small but still features all the 'big' amenities - the Green Moray Bar & Restaurant, soft sand beach with lounge chairs, full service dive shop, freshwater swimming pool, beach towels, hiking trails and lots of room to relax!
Manta Lodge is set on the beach front and has 22 bedrooms, each room has an ocean view, private bathroom and balcony with a choice of ceiling fan or air-conditioning.
Rooms offer a choice of ceiling fan or quiet split-unit air-conditioning, and all include en-suite facilities, daily maid service, and private verandas with a breaking Atlantic ocean views.
This serene and comfortable setting is the backdrop to a host of activities including, diving, hiking, bird watching, snorkelling, reef tours and fishing, or for go all of this to soak up the atmosphere while taking a swim in the sea.
Green Moray Bar & Restaurant
Fine dining is an important part of Manta Lodge with breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Meal plans are available and can be tailored to meet you needs.
Some of the exciting local foods you may see on the menu include adventurous things like:
Buljol and fried or roast bake: Salted fish combined with various seasonings served in heavy bread.
Pigeon peas soup: rich soup made with local peas full of vegetables and dumplings.
Choka and Sada Roti: Fried tomatoes or eggplant highly seasoned and served with a soft thin bread.
Pelau: A combination of rice, vegetables and one or more types of meat cooked in a rich coconut milk.
Our foods are spicy and we love "Hot Sauce"! Not feeling so adventurous anymore? That's ok. Our chefs tempt your taste buds with fine international cuisine as well as traditional local flavours.
