Where is Cyprus?

The Republic of Cyprus (Greek: Κύπρος, Kýpros; Turkish: Kıbrıs) is an island nation in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, 113 km (71 miles) south of Turkey and around 120 km (75 miles) west of the Syrian coast.  The capital of Cyprus is Nicosia .

NB: the Turkish Cypriot community refers to itself as the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" (TRNC) but this is NOT internationally recognised.

After the Summer months the time is shifted back by 1 hour resulting in the normal Standard Time (GMT+2).
