Vaughan is a city in York Region north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Vaughan is located in Southern Ontario and is part of the Greater Toronto Area. Its slogan is "The city above Toronto".
A main tourist attraction in Vaughan is Canada's Wonderland, Canada's largest amusement park located in Maple. The park was the most attended seasonal theme park in North America two years in a row (2005 and 2006). Notably, with 15 roller coasters, the park holds the record for the most roller coasters in one park outside of the United States.
