Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan, Canada. Wascana Centre, created around the focal point of Wascana Lake, remains Regina's signal attraction and contains the Provincial Legislative Building, both campuses of the University of Regina, the provincial museum of natural history, the Regina Conservatory, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, the Norman MacKenzie Art Gallery and the Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts.
Regina International airport is situated on the west side of the city and is the oldest established commercial airport in Canada. It has recently undergone further major upgrades and expansions to allow it to handle increases in traffic for the next several years.
