18 Indiana counties in the Central Time and adopt Daylight Saving Time.
In North-West Indiana 7 counties: Lake, Porter, Laporte, Newton, Jasper, Starke and Pulaski .
NB Pulaski County changed to the Eastern Time zone from 12 March 2007 leaving 17 counties on Central time
In South-West Indiana 11 counties: Knox, Daviess, Martin, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, Posey, Vanderburg, Warrick, Spencer & Perry.

Some counties got the OK to move back to Eastern Time zone in November 2007
It was reported on September 20, 2007 by Evansville Courier Press in Indiana.
The U.S. Department of Transportation has decided that five South-western Indiana counties can move back to the Eastern Time Zone . The counties of Knox, Daviess, Dubois, Martin and Pike will move back to the Eastern Time Zone when Indiana moves back its clock from daylight savings time, according to the ruling.
Perry County will remain on the Central Time Zone . It, too, had requested to move to Eastern Time, but that request was denied by the federal government.
