In 2023, clocks go forward on 12 March in USA and Canada, in all places that abide by Daylight Saving Time rules.

European Union countries have yet to decide whether 2023 will be the last year clocks change. Pending an official announcement, European DST is due to start on 26 March.

UK, which is no longer an EU member, is set to switch from GMT (Standard Time) to BST (British Summer Time) on 26 March.

Other countries that switched to Daylight Saving Time on 13 March 2022 were Cuba and Haiti.

Clocks went forward one hour as well in Turks and Caicos Islands and in the state of Baja California (capital: Tijuana) in Mexico.
